How were you introduced to Max Effort Fitness?

After being introduced by a friend almost 2yrs ago to the workouts and great people, I was immediately hooked...more like obsessed! I was a member of a previous gym where Stephanie was the coach and that gym sadly closed due to unforeseen circumstance so I was thrilled that Steph decided to open Max Effort Fitness!!

What is your proudest accomplishment since being a member at MEF?

My recent 205 deadlift.

What is your or biggest improvement since joining MEF?

The WODs have been amazing at MEF. I feel like I am getting so much stronger. I also competed in my first Spartan Race in September.

What is your six month goal?

I WILL be able to do 1+ strict pull-ups, and improve my double unders.

What is your favorite exercise?

Hang cleans and back squats

What is your least favorite exercise?

Pull-ups...for now.

If you created a workout, what would it be?

Something with hang cleans, sprints and squats.

What is your Favorite cheat food?

Does wine count?!

What do you love most about Max Effort Fitness?

Whether it’s with yourself or someone else on the board, the friendly competition at MEF motivates me so much. It’s addictive and an amazing feeling. The combination of great trainers and supportive friends is just perfect.
