At Max Effort, we center our community and foster friendship through fitness. We warm up together, sweat together, and improve our health together. We want you to become a better version of yourself, and we hope that over time you’ll want to help other members become better too. Max Effort Fitness is a weight-training studio, equipped with barbells, dumbbells, rings, pull-up bars, and jump ropes. We utilize the latest strength & conditioning knowledge to optimize your fitness experience

 

What is Strength & Conditioning?

 

Strength and conditioning is a dynamic approach to fitness that focuses on enhancing physical performance through targeted exercises. It is crucial for individuals of all fitness levels, as it builds a strong foundation for improving overall health, cardiovascular endurance, and athletic performance by focusing on functional movements. This versatile training style not only transfers to everyday activities, making daily tasks easier, but also fosters greater body awareness and confidence. By committing to a consistent strength and conditioning program, individuals can experience significant positive health outcomes, including increased strength, endurance, and resilience.

Our strength and conditioning programs are designed for scalability and applies to all individuals regardless of age or fitness level. By varying the load and intensity, we start you at a level appropriate to your fitness and experience. With commitment and hard work you will achieve greater

general fitness and a high degree of confidence and athleticism. The atmosphere at Max Effort Fitness is one of support and camaraderie to anyone willing to put in the work.

 

Is weight training for me?

Yes! Resistance training—aka weight training—is the number 1 way to improve all aspects of health and longevity. Our members are of all ages, shapes, and sizes. Our workouts are designed for scalability, and programmed specifically for you to be stronger and more fit. Come drop in for a FREE intro class and see how STRONG has so many different faces.

Group Fitness Strength & Conditioning Classes

 

Max Effort Fitness offers small group strength & conditioning classes built to ensure you get the most out of your class time. Class times are 1-hour each; and consist of a specific warm up, a Strength portion that allows members to practice their technique and build strength in functional movements, and a Conditioning finisher that provides members with a high intensity, full body workout that lets you push yourself to your limits!

Consistent strength & conditioning training—along with sound nutrition—is a great addition to any lifestyle. Strength and Conditioning offers a safe and effective way to improve your overall health and wellness. The program works for EVERYONE—people who are just starting out and people who have trained for years.​

CENTERING OUR COMMUNITY: 

The Max Effort Fitness Community is your support network. Members are a part of our local Delaware County community who focus on encouraging and motivating each other in every class as they work toward their goals. Your fellow members are your accountability network as you all work together and learn from one another. You are encouraged to step out of your comfort zone and meet new and diverse people on your journey to a healthier life.

PERSONAL TRAINING

​

Max Effort Fitness offers Private personal training sessions. These are one-on-one training sessions that offer a more personalized approach to an individual's fitness goals. These private sessions place more emphasis on improving form, personal accountability, and injury prevention. 

​

1:1 Personal Training is recommended to everyone—but particularly recommended to those who may be new to resistance training, those who do not enjoy a group fitness setting, or are looking for a more customized approach toward their fitness that might not be supported in a more general fitness class setting. This is a great option for seniors and those with disabilities.

CONDITIONING CLASS

 

Our Cardio Conditioning is the class you are looking for if you like non-stop, fast-paced, cardiovascular endurance workouts without the heavy weightlifting. Conditioning blends traditional, non-traditional, agility, bodyweight, and plyometric movements to produce a 60-minute high intensity workout to boost your power, stability, cardiovascular endurance, and stamina. This class is perfect for those new to exercise and resistance training or the beginner athlete looking shed weight and body fat through cardiovascular effort, or for the serious athlete looking to improve overall cardiovascular performance.

NUTRITION CONSULTATION

 

Along with consistent exercise, proper nutrition and fueling your body correctly is one of the most important factors in your overall health and fitness regimen. Whether you are looking to take your athletic pursuits to the next level or looking to lose weight, Max Effort Fitness provides a number of services to help you reach your nutriton goals.
