Stephanie was introduced to CrossFit because she was tired of the same old monotonous routine of going to a chain style gym every day to train specific body parts day in and day out. She was looking for something different to push and motivate her to become stronger and healthier. Stephanie was an athlete all throughout her youth and went on to compete as a Top 5 NPC National Figure athlete and earned her IFBB Figure Professional status by winning her Figure class in 2006. She has established herself as a recognized trainer and nutritionist for the everyday person, athlete, competitive bodybuilder and figure athletes. She has helped men and woman of all shapes and sizes achieve weight loss and or competition goals. Over the past two years, Stephanie worked to establish the Strength and Conditioning program and acted as head coach at Inside Out Training before deciding to open Max Effort Fitness.
Stephanie is a Professional Figure Athlete and has been a spokes model and sponsored athlete for CytoSport Nutrition since 2004. Stephanie has over 15 years of resistance training, fitness conditioning and Sports Nutrition Experience.
A note from Stephanie: My philosophy on exercise and well-being is simple: Everyone is different, yet everyone is capable of accomplishing goals. There is no such thing as excuses, and there is always time. The only variables that affect one’s training are dedication and heart. Exercise starts out for many as a major change in life. But when it comes down to it, working out is not something that needs to be implemented into a person’s life; IT IS A WAY OF LIFE! Exercise is a lifestyle!!

"As health and physical fitness has always been important to me, Crossfit presented me with a new opportunity to challenge myself both mentally and physically, along with having the support and encouragement of the athletes that were around me. The "family" and "community" that comes along with this sport is one of my favorite aspects about it. Crossfit has all around had such a positive effect of my life and has made me a better athlete, trainer, coach, friend, and mother. My goal is to help educate and pass on all of the amazing things that this sport and community has to offer every single person, at any fitness ability level. Former Level 9 gymnast
Kayla has been involved in athletics and fitness her entire life. She played multiple sports growing up and moved on to play Division 1 Beach Volleyball at Stetson University. She spent time coaching a collegiate development team for East Coast Beach Volleyball Academy and the JCC Sharks, a swim team for children with disabilities. Her first volleyball coach, and three-time Master’s Division Games athlete, told her to try CrossFit to help get her into better shape to play volleyball and she was immediately hooked. She loves how CrossFit is competitive but can still be adapted for any person, of any age, with varying physical abilities. Her favorite part about being a coach is helping people find success and enjoyment in their fitness and athletic journey. She recently moved to Bryn Mawr where she is the Head Volleyball Coach at Harcum College.

Roberta was born and raised in Brazil, grew up swimming and playing volleyball. She carried her passion for sports over to fitness and became a Personal Trainer in 2007. She has an abundance of energy and makes her classes unique and fun!

varsity basketball. Sports and Fitness have always been my passion. I love to help people along their
fitness journeys as well as to continue mine. So I decided that it was only right to make it my profession.

I grew up in Lancaster County playing soccer all year round and running cross country throughout high school. I have always been extremely interested in strength and conditioning and training athletes in prevention of injuries. I attended Eastern University and majored and graduated with a B.S in Exercise Science. While there, I realized I also have a passion for personal training and helping everyone at any ability or age reach their goals! Seeing my athletes or clients reach their goals, see results, and are happy is what I truly love about this field!
