Congrats to Sue Donnelly for being Max Effort's September Athlete of the Month!! Since the time I started training Sue over a year ago until now she has lost a total of 45lbs, went down 4 dress sizes and has been able to stop taking her blood pressure medication. Congrats Sue! All of your hard work has paid off!

1.How were you introduced to Max Effort Fitness?

My daughter started out at a different gym where Stephanie was the trainer. When I would pick her up, I would watch the class working out and actually became jealous. It looked like so much fun and had such a variety of equipment and movements. I joined and loved it. What made me stay was Stephanie's coaching style. I was very grateful when she opened up Max Effort.

2.What is your proudest accomplishment since being a member at MEF?

My weight loss, and being able to stop all of my blood pressure meds.

3.What is your or biggest improvement since joining MEF?

When I began, I could not do burpees. Just the word made me break out into a sweat. I was usually given an alternate movement. Last week I did a workout which included 100 burpees. I love them now!

4.What is your six month goal?

To continue on increasing my strength on all of my lifts and maintain my 3 x's/week workouts.

5.What is your favorite exercise?

Hang Cleans

6.What is your least favorite exercise?

Deadlifts

7.If you created a workout, what would it be?

I like longer AMRAP's with many different movements so maybe:

20 min AMRAP;

-15 pushups

-15 kettlebell swings

-15 box jumps

-15 pull ups

-15 back squats

8.What is your Favorite cheat food?

French Fries (extra thin and crispy!)

9.What do you love most about Max Effort Fitness?

I love how attentive the trainers are. They watch everyone closely, scale workouts accordingly and correct any bad form. I feel very comfortable here and love the support everyone gives eachother. It is a judgement free zone! I also love how I get a vastly better workout in one hour then if I went to another gym for many more!
